Vitroniq (“we”, “us”) is committed to protecting your personal information in accordance with the Australian Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs). This policy explains what we collect, why, and how we handle it. It was last updated on 4 July 2026.
Who we are
Vitroniq is an Australian digital health consultancy operating this website at vitroniq.com.au. You can contact us about anything in this policy at [email protected].
What we collect and why
- Contact enquiries — if you email us or submit a form, we collect your name, contact details and the content of your message, so we can respond.
- Purchases — if you buy a digital product, our store (WooCommerce) collects your name, email address and order details so we can deliver the product and keep required transaction records. We never see or store your card details — payment is processed by our payment provider (Stripe), which handles your card information under its own privacy policy and PCI-DSS security standards.
- Newsletter — our newsletter is delivered by Substack. If you subscribe, your email address is held by Substack and handled under Substack’s privacy policy.
- Website analytics and cookies — like most websites we use cookies necessary for the site and store to function (for example, keeping items in your cart). Our hosting and security providers (Bluehost and Cloudflare) collect standard technical logs such as IP addresses for security and performance purposes.
What we don’t do
- We do not sell or rent your personal information to anyone.
- We do not send marketing email without your consent, and every newsletter includes an unsubscribe link.
- We do not collect health information through this website. Consulting engagements involving organisational data are governed by separate written agreements.
Overseas disclosure
Some of our service providers (Stripe, Substack, Cloudflare) store data in the United States or other jurisdictions. Where personal information is transferred overseas, it is handled by providers with recognised privacy and security safeguards.
Retention and security
We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purposes above or as required by law (for example, taxation records of purchases). Our website uses HTTPS encryption throughout, and access to customer records is limited to Vitroniq.
Access, correction and complaints
You may request access to, or correction of, the personal information we hold about you by emailing [email protected]. If you believe we have mishandled your information, contact us first and we will respond within 30 days. If you are not satisfied with our response, you can complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) at oaic.gov.au.
